Tonight is the first episode of the Titanic airs on ITV1 9pm.... be sure to tune in.
As the 100th anniversary of the ships sinking draws closer. I have noticed a push in advertising and PR and publicity amid the anniversary.
and the award winning original film starring Kate Winslet & Leonardo Decaprio is due for rerealse in 3D in coming weeks.
ITV have also commissioned a new 4-Part Series of the Titanic, each part will tell the story of particular people of those on board the ship. And judging by the dramatic advertisements, and television appearances by the cast members, the documentaries on how the series was made, and not to forget the Million pound budget that ITV have invested in the making of the series, their most expensive ever!!

I love films, I love the Titanic story, I love the history and loved the personal stories and accounts its the love story what made the unsinkable Titanic ship, such a great film in the beginning.
I just don't know if the story can ever be told again in such an emotive and epic way as it did the first time.
However im optimistic because its a fantastic story to have been told, if the series is anything near as good as the film was then all the push advertising and publicity around the series alone, will be for all the good. And that million pound budget ITV have spent making and producing the film will most defiantly have paid off!!.....
