So if you havent heard about the kony2012 movement yet you are bound to very soon!! 

Kony 2012 is a movement to make a guy named Kony famous by the use of social media....

The movement Kony 2012 is a huge world wide campaign to find and bring this man Kony to justice.

 I came across this Kony 2012 Youtube video when I heard and felt the buzz of the movement, I had no idea what it was about I just saw everyone talking about KONY.

When I first came across this video on my Facebook page the 1st thing I saw was make  'make him famous' and thought to myself okay and why would I want to that? How can I do that?......I must have watched the video about 3 times and every single time I watched it my views and opinins changed rapidly. At first the compassionate, and sympathetic felling came over me, and for a moment I found myself wanting to make KONY famous for how emotive and captivating the video was. I thought I want to change the world!! I liked the Facebook page and went on twitter to check out the impact of how it was trending.

It interested me I wanted to know more I was intrigued and fascinated to find out as much as I can!!

On my second view I thought to myself..WOW!! look at my generation and look at how it has become so self less and responsible in taking action for the rights of themself and the rights of others, we are not so bad after all, how proud am I that there are respectable role models who have a heart despite the negative press that young people carry the weights of. Look at the sheer impact social media and innovative global technology has and the power of the world wide web. 

But then as the aspiring journalist that I am I began to ask myself the other questions, the questions that were on the other side of the story. I began to question and analyse the whole movement and with a ratioinal and critical eye! 

I had no Idea who KNOY was and what the movement was about in the begining until I HEARD the HYPE and the BUZZ saw all the celebrities involved and how much of an impact this movement was having on a huge scale!.....

Why all of a sudden has the world done what had done and seen the video heard all the hype and feed into social media's hype about the hype without knowing all the facts. why am I and why do I want to feed into this movement now when I know that this kind of thing happens all over the world and I find it devastating yes but I just get on with life tomorrow......

Is it really fair to make this one man named Kony famous without knowing if he is even real, or what he is really doing and what really is happening? and what this movement is REALLY about?

This very much seems like another Osama Bin Laden lets catch the bad guy movement, that has no regard for the other side of the story or what really is happening....... this is an example of good PR on the side of the Knoy2012 movement and shows how much of a huge impact social mainstream media have upon the young generation who still have much more of the world yet to experience and learn about!!....A great video!
